Job: Junior VFX Editor

We are seeking a Junior VFX editor for our Editorial team.  Avid experience is a must — preferably with Avid Media Composer, but experience on Avid DV Express is acceptable.  Other tools that we use include Frame Cycler, After Effects and Photoshop.  A basic understanding of some of these applications would be stellar, and don’t be discouraged from applying if you’ve only used these tools in school.  We will give you real world working experience.  This is not a creative editorial job, your job duties will include organizing and titling Avid timelines, exporting from both Avid and After Effects, organizing media and operating internal screenings.

While we are a youthful office, professionalism and a good work ethic are a must.  There will be weekend and night hours, and scheduling flexibility is required.  However, we rotate night shifts so no one has to work an undesirable shift more than a week at a time.
