Senior Visual Effects Supervisor
Scott Squires is an accomplished visual effects supervisor with more than 30 years of experience in visual effects. He has worked on numerous high-profile films, including 4 : Rise of the Silver Surfer, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Dragonheart, The Mask and Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace, receiving Academy Award nominations for the latter three films. He has also been recognized by the Academy with a Scientific and Engineering Award. Key facility roles for Squires included co-founding Dream Quest Images where he served as president and VFX supervisor for six years. He followed this success with a 20 year term at Industrial Light & Magic, serving as chief technical officer, VFX supervisor, and commercial director. Squires recently assisted on the Clint Eastwood release, Hereafter.
