Summary:
Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style.
Creative Analysis:
"Madagascar 3 was our second collaboration with DreamWorks Animation, and we were responsible for converting a number of select shots for the film. We were also tasked with providing 2D VFX services, as we continue to expand the scope of services that we are able to provide for our clients. This film also marks the second time that Legend3D's creative team has had the opportunity to work with stereo guru, Phil 'Captain 3D' McNally, and the amazing animation team at PDI-Dreamworks." “It was a pleasure working with DreamWorks’ Stereoscopic Supervisor Phil Captain 3D McNally on Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. We were provided with all of the elements that we needed to convert the shots perfectly, and we were able to successfully emulate the DreamWorks' work that had been rendered in 3D. Our shots were seamlessly cut into the film, resulting in the rendered and converted materials being indistinguishable from one another throughout the film.
