Ian Jessel was appointed President of Legend3D in March 2012.  Mr. Jessel helps oversee the company's business operations, focusing on strengthening and expanding its relationships with major film studios and filmmakers while spearheading its expansion into Asia and Europe.  Prior to joining Legend3D, he was the Founding President of Miramax International, one of the industry's leading independent companies, which, during his tenure, acquired, produced and distributed films of class and distinction, winning 16 Oscars and 4 Palmes d'Or at Cannes.  Among the directors with whom he worked closely are Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen, Rob Reiner, Peter Jackson, Jane Campion, David Lynch and Robert Altman.  Before his role at Miramax, Mr. Jessel has served as President and CEO of Nelson Entertainment, President of Spelling Films International and Vice-President of CBS Films.  Prior to re-locating to Los Angeles, Mr. Jessel was Managing Director of Lord Grade's ITC International in London, where he supervised the international distribution of Sophie's Choice, On Golden Pond, The Eagle Has Landed and The Muppet Movie.  An Oxford graduate, Mr.Jessel is a long-standing member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the British Film Academy.  He speaks fluent French and German and is currently studying Mandarin.

Tom Sinnott joined Legend3D in 2010; previously he was VP/GM of Technicolor’s West Coast Digital Intermediate Facilities.  Mr. Sinnott ran his own Animation/VFX company in Chicago for 15 years before heading up Visual Effects Operations for Technicolor in Canada and was also responsible for the build-out, staffing and management of Technicolor Beijing, a VFX/DI joint venture in China. He brings to Legend3D his in-depth operations management experience in the creation and production of visual effects, animation and digital media. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology with graduate studies in Film and Animation and is a member of the Directors Guild of America.

Susan Olney is co-founder of Legend Films and was instrumental in the launch of  the company when it first debuted its patented digital colorization process.  Hundreds of projects later, the company changed its name to Legend3D and shifted its focus to stereo conversion. Between 2009 and 2010, Ms. Olney orchestrated the expansion and training of the production staff from 40 to over 400 employees in San Diego, and from 120 to 850 employees in Legend3D’s Patna, India facility. During that period, Legend3D completed work on Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Shrek 1, Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third, as well as The Green Hornet.  Prior to working for the company, Ms. Olney spent 14 years in the multimedia industry.  She was key in the successful ramp up of two large scale publicly traded production studios in San Diego – American Film Technologies and The Lightspan Partnership Inc.  Ms. Olney holds unique skills and extensive experience in overall production management and large-scale production build-out.

 

Tony Baldridge has been actively involved in the R&D of Legend3D’s stereo conversion processes since its inception.  Most recently, he was the Stereoscopic Visual Effects Supervisor on several 3D leading conversion projects including 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,' and 'Green Lantern.'  Most notably, he was responsible for being one of the primary liaisons between Industrial Light & Magic and Digital Domain to ensure visual effect shots were successfully completed on 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'.   His previous projects include 'Alice in Wonderland', 'The Green Hornet', 'Priest'  and the 'Shrek' trilogy.  Since joining Legend3D in 2002, Mr. Baldridge has held various leadership positions within both the technical and creative departments as a Colorist, Compositing Artist, Utility Supervisor, Technical Director, Visual Effects Supervisor and Stereographer.  He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Phoenix, where he trained with cinematographer Greg Voigt and studied art and visual effects.
