Green Lantern

Summary:
Green Lantern was a project that we initially turned down for reasons surrounding our prior commitment with Transformers Dark of the Moon. However as time went on, we realized that our efficiencies were such that we could handle additional work. We went from working on one full length film to taking on several projects such as Priest, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Despite these other commitments, Green Lantern received the same technical and creative attention and expertise that we give to each of our projects.

Creative Analysis:
“Legend3D collaborated with Warner Bros.’s Stereographer, Ed Marsh, to achieve a level of 3D of which everyone was very proud, evidenced by the fact that some of the most pivotal conversion shots from the film were showcased in the movie’s spectacular trailer.  We learned a great deal working within the demands of the constantly changing high-action shots, which involved a fast-moving fighter jet dogfight.  In the end, the results were nothing short of amazing.” Glenn Osgood, Legend3D Stereographer

The conversion work in 'Green Lantern' has received critical praise in its reviews to date.  We worked directly with the film’s numerous international 2D vendors and collaborated to convert not only live action/vfx hybrid sequences, but also sequences that were 100% CG and not able to be rendered in stereo.  Our ability to effortlessly and effectively manage this variety of sequences sets us apart and continues to send the message to the Industry that truly we can handle anything. Beyond the original scope of our work, we were then also awarded numerous sequences that other vendors were unable to complete due to the technical sophistication of the content and the aggressive vfx schedule that needed to be met.  In addition, we were also given the difficult “money shots” from Warner Bros. that needed to be converted to complement and support their marketing efforts.  Our work on this film is of the highest quality, and despite a very tight schedule, we were able to successfully deliver each of these pieces both on time and on budget."
