Shrek

Summary:
This film was a major milestone for Legend3D. When we first learned that we had been awarded the conversion for all three of these movies consecutively over a six-month period we thought, ‘Wow’! Three high-profile, full-length animated features back-to-back in a six-month period. We were able to do it, but there were growing pains involved. Within this period, we grew both of our studios, hired and trained-up 75% of our new creative teams, seamlessly expanded our support staff, and modified all of our pipeline processes. Each of these pieces led us to the efficiencies that we have in place to date.

Creative Analysis:
“The 3D conversion of the first three ‘Shrek’ films was one of the most captivating projects on which I’ve ever worked. Being granted the creative task of determining the roundness, volume and depth of this lovable giant green ogre each and every day was an exhilarating and very unique experience for me. I found myself constantly switching between my left and right brain, utilizing both advanced mathematics and visual aesthetics, to create a cohesive feel throughout this project.”  Legend3D Stereographer
